Watering in preparation for a freeze

Once again we are expecting freezing temperatures and strong winds in North Texas this weekend.  If you are not watering regularly at this time of year, it is advisable to water ahead of anticipated freezing temperatures.  We recommend watering during daylight hours, allowing time for foliage to dry before sunset.  This is especially important to minimize landscape damages while we are in a drought.
